Some of the best live poetry from local and national spoken word artists, the best old school and real music played by Big Tone and DJ Showtime, amazing live band Mother's Favorite Child, and most importantly a positive and safe environment. You're tired of the club, bad concerts, events that don't start on time. You're tired of staying home and telling everyone "There's nothing to do in Arizona". YOUR SOLUTION IS HERE!
Now that we're back on Sunday, December 2nd, we are going to step outside of our box. We are going to have poetry, music , and dinner together at a new (one time) location right on the border of Tempe/Scottsdale at Mijana Lebanese Grill 1290 N. Scottsdale Road Tempe, AZ 85281.Right north of the Rural/Scottsdale exit on the 202, it's a beautiful location with amazing food and, just for us, discounted bottles of wine. And we have special guests poets, all the way from Chicago, the amazing PHENOMENON and Chi-towns most amazing host, poet and B-Boy BINKY!!!
Oh, this on gonna be a live night. You can't afford to miss this one.
